The policy can continue for up to thirty days from the date you notify us of the bereavement. This will help give you time to decide what you want to do with the vehicle. Maybe you want to sell it or transfer it into someone else’s name. After the thirty days, the policy will automatically be cancelled and cover will no longer be in place for the vehicle. However, if you prefer we can cancel the policy immediately.

If you need to check any details or make a change to your policy, please log in to your Self-Service Centre. It will be much quicker for you to make changes to your policy online at the moment. Once logged in, you can also use our Webchat service which is available Monday- Saturday 8am-6pm and Sunday 10am-4pm to make changes, accept or decline your renewal or if you need to let us know about a claim.
